Professional Learning Plan

The professional learning course will span the entire school year, comprising six in-person meetings and five online modules. Participants will benefit from ongoing support through open discussion boards, in-class assistance, and a mentorship program. The course will commence with an exploration of the shortcomings of our current educational system, followed by the development of strategies to address these issues.

Structured in a blended learning format, the course itself will serve as a model for participants. Learners will have the opportunity to observe, engage with, and design their own blended learning initiatives, receiving constructive feedback on their efforts. Each participant will also be encouraged to tailor their plans to their specific disciplines, ensuring the immediate applicability of their learning.

Throughout the course learners will participate in discussion boards and group assignments/projects. These projects will be presented during in person sessions. Presentations will result in feedforward and an opportunity to voice why they chose to their way and protentional changes to better their work. Learners will get the opportunity to share their strengths and weaknesses and gain entail from others where needed.

My plan is to introduce the idea and plan for our blended learning initiatives. Reading and math coaches throughout the district will assist with reading and math blended learning planning. Principles will be in charge of mentorship programs.
