Leading Organization Change
Within my innovation proposal, the primary objective is to establish a blended learning environment, a novel concept for both my school and my district.. A critical aspect of implementing this innovative approach involves garnering support from stakeholders. Course 5304 has provided me with a framework for assuming a leadership role amidst this transformation. Initially, the course emphasized the importance of determining our why, enabling me to clarify the motives driving the desired changes. Subsequently, the focus shifted towards the influencer strategy, equipping me with the ability to identify key influencers within the organization crucial for advancing my innovation plan. Additionally, I learned to recognize sources of influence essential for effecting change. We then explored the four disciplines of education and revealed how their implementation could induce lasting behavioral changes in others. Lastly, I delved into the advantages of being a self-differentiated leader and gained skills to navigate crucial conversations integral to the change process. While the course did not center on furthering the planning of my implementation plan, it emphasized the successful execution of it. Possessing a plan without the tools and knowledge for execution would render it futile. The insights gained from this course have proven invaluable, equipping me with the leadership skills necessary to steer through the complexities of change management.
